Proprietary Methodology

The Window Method

Most nutrition protocols optimise total daily intake. The Window Method optimises when substrates are available and forces the body to transition between them multiple times within a single day. This is not intermittent fasting. It is not carb cycling. It is a structured substrate oscillation protocol with a precise mechanistic basis.

The structural innovation is the middle meal: a protein-only, zero-carbohydrate feeding that creates a 3 to 4 hour return to fat oxidation between two fed states. This resets insulin to near-baseline, partially depletes glycogen, and primes insulin sensitivity for the final meal, when training-induced GLUT4 uptake means a large carbohydrate load goes directly into muscle rather than adipose.

Window 01 — Fasted Opening
Wake to First Meal
No Carbs

Hepatic fat oxidation dominant. Low insulin, glucagon-driven. Black coffee, water, electrolytes. The fasted window is preserved deliberately and runs 14 to 16 hours total including overnight.

Window 02 — First Fed Meal
Moderate Carb + Protein
With Carbs

Post-fast insulin sensitivity is at its daily peak. Moderate carb dose, not maximal, to prime glycogen without overshooting into de novo lipogenesis. Easily digestible foods only.

Window 03 — Semi-Fasted Middle
Protein Only
No Carbs

Zero carbohydrate. Protein plus minimal fat only. Creates a 3 to 4 hour return to fat-oxidation dominance while leucine sustains MPS. This window is what separates the method from standard three-meal continuous feeding.

Largest Carb Meal, Post-Training
With Carbs
